LANKansas is a website that uses logic based on timed events and other variables. The date and time of day is used to decide what items to display and when. This date may be overridden for testing purposes in the url, as shown below.
This site also features a full admin section that allows a 'non-techie' user (with the right password) to easily add and modify events. The variables that the user enters in a simple form will determine what items show up on the event listing.
Here are some examples. Noet the date variable in the url that we are using to 'trick' the site in to thinking it is a different date and time:

This site was made using Google sites. Google Sites is a free Google
service that allows a user to create a site easily and maintain it with no
programming knowledge. Those who have programming knowledge (like us) can
create a site with more features, while still making it easy for the volunteers
in the organization that the site was made for, to manage it, with no
programming knowledge. Google sites integrates well in to many other
Google services you may already be using, such as Google Calendar, Google Photos
(Picasa), and Google Docs.
